Terttu Seppänen:
Born in Salla on the eve of the Winter War, she graduated as a social scientist from the Helsinki University of Social Sciences, a Bachelor of Humanities from the University of Jyväskylä and a Master of Social Sciences from the University of Lapland. She had a long career in the field of social work in the municipalities of Savo, Ostrobothnia and Lapland, and spent her last twenty years working in the Provincial Government of Lapland, in planning and administrative positions. As an artist, she wrote countless poems during her life and painted a large number of paintings of the beautiful landscapes of Lapland, from which seven wonderful works have been selected for this collection. The products are a tribute to the mother of the owner of Santa's Gift Company, Terttu Seppänen. Terttu passed away in the spring of 2023.
