Showy jewelry for a celebration
The Kehrä-kääty, named after the sun's spinner, is an eye-catcher and a striking accessory. The graphic and classically simple rings together create a striking impression that is nevertheless light to wear. The kääty adds an edge to simple outfits, for example with a linen shirt or dress. The birch color emphasizes the brightness of natural wood.
The wooden parts of the jewelry are made of domestic, responsibly produced birch plywood. Its chain is a nickel-free metal chain, which is 38 cm long. The chain also has a 5 cm extension piece, which can be used to hang the jewelry a little lower if desired. This way, the necklace fits perfectly.
The Kehrä collection also implements Valona's ecological zero waste design principle, which aims to minimize material loss already in the design phase. Kehrä jewelry is made from both rings and the round pieces left inside them. These are also used to create the collection's hoop earrings and round stud earrings. Both of these are available in two different sizes. The first pieces in the jewelry series were released in 2018. At the time, the series was called Korona. The name was changed later. The necklace is also perfectly paired with the Mini Halo earrings.
The jewelry was designed by designer Elina Mäntylä.
