Diamonds are forever! Valona's birch plywood Diamond ornament is not only a long-lasting friend, but also a more ecological and ethical choice than precious stones. The lightweight diamond is a wonderful hanging decoration for the Christmas tree or branches at other times of the year. The diamond's design is inspired by the cutting of glass crystal and is unique in its design.

Made from 100% domestic, responsibly produced birch plywood, the diamond shape is three-dimensional, so it radiates evenly in every direction. The wood is safely dyed with Valona's own dyeing technique, which allows the wood grain to stand out beautifully even through the dark color. Combine wood-colored and black decorations and hang, for example, on a birch branch, window, lamp or ceiling. The feather-light decorations do not require heavy attachments.

The diamond ornament is assembled from two separate parts that are threaded into each other and secured together with a simple locking mechanism. This makes it easy to disassemble it after use and return it to its flat shell to await the next use.

The diamond was designed by designer Elina Mäntylä.
